mWorld outage/issues
I experienced some odd happenings on the site today. I was getting a virus warning regardging a VBS/Psyme virus being executed by Internet Explorer. My anti-virus blocked it but I figured either my web host is infected or something hacked my site.
Not knowing what was going on I turned off DNS to my host just in case my site was the culprit. I quickly shot off an email to my host’s support, and they claim everything’s okay on their end. So it could be an issue with the proxy server at work somehow (it gets flaky at times).
At the moment all seems well. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Hey, Just read that you had a problem with the VBS/Psyme virus and I am having the same issue, I don’t detect it on my computer but a couple of people who visit my blog keep getting the warning, did you get the problem resolved and if so any tips on how to get rid of it?

I contacted my host that day and they stated everything was fine. Maybe it was a virus sitting in a proxy server somewhere. I’m not sure but it cleared up the same day.
