Call of Duty 3 : Free from yourFree360Games.com
After listening to Major Nelson’s 200th blogcast (actually I’m still listening to it; it’s 2hrs long. I also refuse to call them “podcasts”), Call of Duty 3 certainly sounds like a cool game. Although COD2 was neat, and people raved about it, I just couldn’t get into it after playing the demo (something about the guns I didn’t like). But hearing Major interview one of the lead developers of COD3, the new features of COD3 peeked my interest. So I jumped over to my favorite site to get 360 games on-the-cheap (they really have good selection of new titles), and completed two offers – costing me about $15 (I actually used a gift card to pay for it – so really, nothing) and within 30min had the two credits I needed to get the game. I just placed the order. So I’m getting a newly released, $60 title for about $15.
COD3 comes out this week (Nov 7th) so I imagine I’ll have it within a week’s time. I’m also awaiting the arrival of Gears of War from Best Buy which also releases this week (Nov 7th). With so many new games coming into my collection (Splinter Cell: Double Agent, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, Gears of War, COD3, Viva Piñata, Lego Start Wars 2, Dead Rising), I’ll have plenty to play while I’m on vacation for Thanksgiving (17-26) and the last half of December (Dec 15 – Jan 1).
[edit: updated some wording - I need to proof-read more!]
