The day before Thanksgiving I took my truck in for a regular oil change, and one new radiator, new idler arm and flushed power steering system later ("We found a few things while inspecting your vehicle...") my wallet is almost $900 lighter. Put a bit of a damper on things, but I sure was happy to stay home on Thanksgiving day, not spend any money and just cook and eat. I had a similar auto repair Thanksgiving story.
